BASKETBALLI have been playing organized basketball since I was in fifth grade. Even before that, I was somewhat interested in it (more of the video game part than the actual playing), but once I started playing, I fell in love with it. I am full of random facts about basketball players and knows a lot about how the game is played. I play varsity basketball for my school, wearing #3 and playing shooting guard. I am always trying to learn something new about the sport that I've never heard of. I am a left-handed shooter. Basketball truly is one of my favorite things to do.

CREATIVE WRITINGI have been creative writing since I was in second grade. My skill, technique, and strategy have all obviously improved since then, and I continue to develop my ideas in more effective ways. Creative writing has always been a way for me to express myself and my thoughts, whether it is through poetry, sci-fi, some other genre of writing. Speaking of genres, I write nearly all kinds of fiction and most kinds of poetry. I have written poems on issues such as school shootings, racism, and many more things that we face today. I am also currently taking a poetry elective at South Canton. I will continue to express my thoughts and personality throughout my life. I plan on becoming an author when I get older.

READINGAnother hobby of mine is reading. I love books, more specifically fiction and poetry. I read large books fairly quickly, but I always do my best to understand them 110%. Just recently I have read Expelled by James Patterson (mature content) and it was very good. As I've read lately, I have tried to pick up on the author's style of description in the book so I can add it to my own repertoire. This is just one of many ways that writing and reading coexist. To put it into context: There would be no Kobe Bryant without Michael Jordan. Anyways, reading is one of many important aspects who make me who I am.
